One Stop Shop – Liverpool Municipal Building

The Brief

Liverpool City Council required a major refurbishment of their city centre ‘One Stop Shop’ located in the Municipal Building on Dale Street. The brief was to create a welcoming front of house area whilst increasing the back of house and ancillary areas.

The design needed to sympathise with the elegance of the buildings grade 2 listing whilst using modern materials. In addition we were asked to create a robust palette of materials and components that could be utilised within other one stop shops.

The works included new bespoke solid oak counters, new flooring throughout, partitioning and bespoke curved architectural glazed screens.
