Chadwick House Reception

The Brief

To re-design the entire reception area of the headquarters building of Chadwick House to provide a more modern entrance to their building in keeping with the extensive refurbishment scheme across the entire business park.

The design needed to be striking to complement the large glazed approach to the building; yet with the many internal and external circulation routes which cross through this space the detailing and location of the reception desk became complicated. This was solved by introducing a large slate covered seat which leads sightline to the greeting position of the reception desk.

The scheme included new limestone flooring, signage, decoration, bespoke reception counter, bespoke furniture, slate wall tiling, bespoke joinery items and architectural glazed freestanding screen.
